Friday night at the Foxwoods Resort Casino the fighters of Lion Fight 30 left all of their training and preparation in the ring as all 11 bouts were packed with action.

The main event between Ky Hollenbeck and Mark Holst was a war through the forth round when it had to go to the score cards as a result of two accidental headbutts which lead to separate gashes on Hollenbeck’s face. Hollenbeck was able to come away with a split decision.

Sergio Wielzen was pushed to the limits by Arthur Meyer who proved he belonged in the ring with one of the worlds best. After going the distance Wielzen was able to retain his title by split decision.

The second title bout of the night for the vacant female lightweight title between Antonina Shevchenko and Annabelle Gely was scrapped due to an undisclosed medical issue to Gely, by default Shevchenko was presented with the title and is now the promotions champion.
