Cage Titans 40 came through an incredible night of fights that resulted in the changing of titles in two of the five title bouts of the night. There was a split crowd cheering for the main event as they watch  Johnny Campbell get neutralized against the cage for the duration of the fight earning Jay Perrin the title of the new Cage Titans Professional Bantamweight Champion.

There were some intense moments in the Chris O’Brien and Matt Bienia amateur lightweight title fight as both fighters had each other in compromising situations on several occasions throughout their five-round contest. In the end, it was Bienia’s trademark relentless pressure that had him collecting his third amateur lightweight title in the Northeast.

Mitch Raposo made light work of William Graustuck winning with a landslide unanimous decision to improve his undefeated record to 5-0. Raposo currently sits at #1 in the New England region with the murmur of him potentially going pro. If he was to stick around the two most dynamic match-ups to be made against the surging fighter would be either #2 New England ranked Justin Valentin or a much-anticipated match-up facing another New England flyweight champion, #7 Tim Flores.

The always improving amateur welterweight champ Trevor Gudde showed he had no problem finishing on the ground, earning the victory by 1st round rear naked choke and picking up his 2nd amateur finish. Putting a two-year lay-off aside, Neil Von Flatern told Combat Sports Nation he felt the calmest he ever had felt in the cage on Saturday night, yet the tall task in front of him proved to be too high of a mountain to climb in his return.

Sporting the same 3-3 record, Kenny Champion and Aaron Hughes went to war in all facets of the mma game in an effort to claim the vacant amateur featherweight title. After the final bell, the judges declared Champion the winner by unanimous decision >>>>Read on for the full results
